A Little About Shatone
Shatone is a full service metal fabricating and machining center. We have the capability to burn, bend, machine, weld, roll, blast, and paint steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
We are experienced in applying ceramic and Alumaplate coatings to steel pipe, elbows, screws and air fittings for the pulp and paper industries. We fabricate and machine large screws, screw conveyors and cone bottom reclaimers, and have the capability to hard surface the flights and digger teeth that are used on bark screws.

Shatone also fabricates and erects red iron for the commercial and industrial building industry. We have banded and installed plate glass on towers and canopies.

History of Shatone

Shatone’s unique name was derived from a combination of the first names of its owners: SHAron & TONy Neja.
The company’s first location was a 60 X 60 area in the rear portion of Sharon and Tony’s well established welding supply business. Shatone’s first day of production began in Oct. of 2005 with only one employee. With a large increase in business, we were forced to rent additional shop space in order to assemble large equipment that was fabricated at the original site. The separate shop areas soon became a negative factor in our production. This lead us to look for land to expand our facility.
In January of 2008, we purchased 12 acres of land with one 50 X 80 existing building in Whitesburg, Ga. After renovating the building, the office and machine shop moved
to the new location.
In early 2009, an additional 11,000 square foot fabrication shop was built with a 20 ton crane in high bay and a 5 ton crane in the second bay. We now have 11 full time and 3 part time employees.
